BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC)- John Young may get another crack at running the Jefferson County sewer system.

Today, Jefferson County manager Tony Petelos confirmed to FOX6 News that the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals will hear the case involving the ousting of John Young.

Young was appointed to run the Jefferson County sewer system in September 2010. He was stripped of that title in early 2012 by a bankruptcy judge. Young has been paid more than a million dollars in his role as receiver of the sewer system.

So far, no date has been set for the case.
